Hardware and Software

Hardware: The Lab makes use of the latest rack mounted hardware available from manufacturers such as SUN, DELL, IBM and HP. We also have the latest SSL VPN and firewall appliances.

Operating Systems: The Lab is based on the operating systems most used in the server world: Solaris 8, 9 and 10, Linux, Windows, HP-UX. Any other operating systems can be added easily with the use of Virtualisation. We use VMWare virtual machines extensively.

Software: BEA (now Oracle) products including WebLogic Integration and Aqualogic (ALSB; ALBPM, etc), TIBCO products such as BusinessWorks, Active Matrix, Spotfire,  Business Events, Staffware, IBM Websphere and MQSeries
