IT Architect

We are looking for a +5 years experience consultant with software development and architecture projects exposure and with knowledge of integration products. Required skills are Java technologies (JavaEE e.g. (EJB, JSP, Servlets, JMS, RMI, JTA, JDBC, J2EECA), Spring, Hibernate, AOP and design patterns. Methodologies, standards, experience with full lifecycle development projects (RUP, UML, eXtreme programming, MDA). Oracle and/or Sybase performance tuning. Knowledge of EAI/SOA and BPM products from BEA, TIBCO, ORACLE etc would be a huge plus. Knowledge of networks TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, routing and switches would also be a plus. A technical or scientific academic degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, computer science etc is required.

This is a key position that requires a dynamic attitude, to be very hands-on oriented, a problem-solver, very focused and self-driven. Some projects will be based in Spain, and others may involve some trips within Europe, so fluency in both Spanish and English is required as well as willingness for business travel.  Part of your responsibilities will include the technical leadership and creation of architecture frameworks and PoC´s hence good development skills are needed. Besides, the architect role requires very good customer facing skills as well as an analytical approach.
